Saturday, Sept.14th:
000 Magazine hosted Rare Shades 4 - A Celebration of Paint-To-Sample and Unusual Porsche Colors at the A+D Museum in downtown Los Angeles.
As the event's philanthropic partner, Autotype was at the 000 booth selling our exclusive Autotype + 000 Magazine Proof & Prototype Tee to commemorate their legendary Proof & Prototype exhibit showing at the museum until late November.
The event started at 9 am on what would become a very hot day in Los Angeles. Porsche enthusiasts from all over the country attended to appreciate the Porsches on display. Spectators and participants alike enjoyed the rare array of 911's, 912's, 914's, 924's, 928's, 930's, 944's, 959's, and others. Here are a few of our favorites.
A big highlight for us was when our automobile design scholarship recipient Pouria stopped by to say hello. We had him take over our Instagram story to give our audience the point of view of an aspiring automobile designer. It was great to see him and introduce him to the kind people at 000.

As the day ended, despite the sweaty clothes and sunburns, we were filled with joy and gratitude. We thank all of those in attendance, spectators, participants, and vendors for making Rare Shades 4 so successful. To be involved in such a design-loving community really inspires us. Thank you to 000 and A+D Museum and thank you to everybody who supported the event online and in-person by buying a tee or print. 10% of all sales went to our scholarship fund.
