Our friends at 000 Magazine managed to coax Hall of Fame Hill Climber David Donner out of retirement for the 98th running of the Broadmoor Pike's Peak International Hill Climb. What did it take? A 2019 Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport and 4 Michelin racing tires. Aside from the incredible paint job and the tires, the car was 100% stock. No racing modifications whatsoever.
Donner earned 2nd place on the podium and finished less than 1.1 seconds behind overall race winner Clint Vahsholtz who was driving an open-wheeled car. We can't wait to read the full story in a future issue of 000 Magazine.

The race is a multi-generational family affair for Donner. His grandfather helped restart the race after WWII and his father Bob won 3 races in the 1960s driving a Porsche RS-61.
