With the most interesting body shape of the era and classic post-war lines, the 1949 Hudson is the perfect canvas for Jonathan Ward and his talented team to research, re-imagine, and respectfully retool a legend for another 70 years.
Under the hood is a potent, supercharged LS9 6.2L V8 with 638hp and over 600lbs. of torque. It all powers a reliable and remarkably smooth, performance 4-speed automatic transmission. ICON sourced leather for the roomy interior from friend-of-Autotype, Moore & Giles, pairing it with German carpeting and hand-stitched alligator calfskin. They snuck-in a subtle infotainment system and used 3-D printing to recreate fits and finishes.
